Here at Eastmont Middle School, we like to recognize the continued success of all of our students. The student recognition programs at Eastmont Middle School provide an opportunity to acknowledge students for exemplary behavior and achievement. The following programs are designed to recognize deserving individuals:
Patriot of the Month (POM) – Each month, two students from each grade will be chosen by the faculty as students exemplifying positive student behavior and academic excellence.
Patriot of the Day (POD) – One student each day, nominated by a teacher, will be recognized for outstanding behavior.
Persistent Patriot – Faculty selects deserving students who show outstanding educational growth, improvement, commitment, or intellectual development in their academic subjects to be recognized for this award.
ALL H Citizenship Award – Students who have all H’s (no S’s, N’s or U’s) will be honored.
Honor Roll – Students who earn a 3.5 GPA or higher will receive an award certificate and recognition for their efforts.
The “A” Team – Students who earn a 4.0 GPA during the term will be recognized.
No-Tardy Students – Select students with no tardies are recognized at the Patriot of the Month Assemblies.
100% Attendance Students – Students with no absences of any kind will be recognized.
Patriot Points – Students will receive Patriot Points for demonstrating exceptional citizenship, superior academic skill, extraordinary effort, and significant improvement. Students earn Patriot Points that they can redeem at our school store or on activity days.
