A Message from Mrs. Kurtzhals
Hello Eastmont Patriots,
We have just a few quick reminders for you today.
- Tomorrow begins our Chromebook and other item drop off/pick up process. Our staff will be on the bottom parking lot from 9-2 Tomorrow, Thursday, Friday, and then again Tuesday and Wednesday of next week. You can come whenever it fits into your schedule. During this time you can drop off your Chromebook, instruments, books, calculators or anything else that belongs to the school.
- During this same drop off time, 9-2 Tomorrow, Thursday, Friday, and then again Tuesday and Wednesday of next week, you can also pick up items. If you have arranged to pick things up from your teachers it will be there during the same times. You can also still pick up locker items.
- Speaking of locker items, as we began cleaning the lockers for the summer (that really sounds weird), we found many items stashed in unassigned lockers. If you were missing something when we did locker pick up, it may be in the new items that will be marked lost and found. All items that are not picked up by May 29th will be donated.
- Memory books! Memory books have the expected delivery date to the school on May 29th. Some schools are already hearing that their delivery from Lifetouch will be delayed. When we know more details, we will tell you when you can come pick them up. Also, we have about 150 that were not purchased so if you want to buy one when we get them you can do that then too.
- Last but definitely not least…Our Eastmont Teacher of the Year Ms. Moss has made it as a top 4 finalist for the Canyons District Teacher of the Year. If you want to watch tonight as the announcement is made, you can watch the board meeting live on the Canyons District Facebook Page at 7 PM. Be sure to comment if you are there so she sees our community supporting her. It is pretty exciting to have a teacher make it as a finalist at Eastmont 2 years in a row!
Before you sit down to cheer on Ms. Moss, go outside before the wind gets bad again and pick up some trash for your parents. I am sure there is something in the neighborhood that has flown into your yard. Keep on pushing until the end Patriots. Get those grades where you are happy with them, be kind to your siblings, and be nice to your parents!
